OVERVIEW INformation

Classical School of Dallas (CSD) is an entirely Christ-centered, distinctively Classical, and uniquely Collaborative private school near White Rock Lake in Dallas, Texas.

CSD currently offers Pre-K through 6th grade. We plan to organically expand the number of grades offered on a yearly basis until the school offers grades Pre-K through 12th.

We offer a Christian liberal arts and sciences education that draws from a variety of publishers to provide a broad, high-quality curriculum. For more information on our curriculum, we encourage you to sign up for and attend one of our Information Meetings.  We are utilizing the well-developed curriculum and lesson plans of our sister school, Trinity Classical School of Houston.

We will be seeking membership in the Association of Classical Christian Schools (ACCS) and the Classical Latin School Association (CLSA), and we are being supported and mentored by Trinity Classical School in Houston. Click here to read more.

Below you will find descriptions of what we mean by an education that is classical, collaborative, and Christ-centered.

He is before all things, and in him all things hold together (Col 1:17).  The board, staff, and families of Classical School of Dallas are united in affirming our Statement of Faith and recognize Christ’s supremacy in all things.  CSD is discipleship-oriented in its mission, partnering with parents striving to develop wise and virtuous students.

We use proven, time-tested historical teaching methods that align with a child's natural developmental stages.  We equip students with the tools for lifelong learning known as the Trivium (Grammar, Logic, and Rhetoric). Our comprehensive curriculum is well-rounded in the study of science, math, history, literature, poetry, English grammar, spelling, writing, Latin, and the arts.

Students attend class on campus with trained teachers Mondays and Wednesdays.  On Tuesdays and Thursdays students participate in class at home with co-teachers (parents), using provided curriculum and guided instructions. This allows parents to share in the academic instruction of their children, and also provides the structure and benefits of the classroom environment with professional teachers.
